Remedial reading often requires students to read long lists of words, write in workbooks and do other activities that can be boring.  But games can make lessons fun and enjoyable.  Puppy Party is a free sample board game that will help making learning the short vowel sounds a blast.  Your students/kids will beg to play this game - mine do - and they will be collecting puppies as they move around the board learning those difficult short vowel sounds.    Enjoy!
