Seasons of the Year Freebie

I teach in Australia so I made this freebie to use with my own class as a simple assessment about the seasons and months because this is a standard for Year 2 in Mathematics in the Australian Curriculum.

The great thing is that it can be used in the northern hemisphere too since the months can be written into any part of the wheel.

The task allows children to respond in different ways depending on their ability:
1. Choose a colour or draw a picture for each season
2. Describe the weather or a favourite activity for each season
3. Write specific special days for each season.

Of course, you could also use it for teaching about the difference in seasons in the northern and southern hemispheres, especially if you were doing a unit about Australia!
