Crafting Sentences

My first graders were having some trouble writing a complete sentence.  To help them out, I thought about what made a complete sentence.  What were they missing?  They knew that a complete sentence started with a capital letter and had ending punctuation.  It was the content that was getting them, so I created this lesson plan to help them out.  Click on the picture below to be taken to the lesson plan, which includes the graphic organizers I used to help write a complete thought.
