My kids love to work on contractions. I think it makes them feel all grown-up. We worked on a puppy contraction booklet that focused on not words. They had to make the contraction and then use the word in a sentence! My class has been needing extra practice in writing complete sentences with capitals and periods. We are also focusing on trying to improve handwriting. They get so lazy with this. What do you do to get your kiddos to improve their handwriting?
