We're counting down the days until the end of the school year. As an elementary librarian, one of my goals is to encourage ALL of our students to keep reading over the summer. I give them a handout listing all of the ways they can earn prizes from local businesses with summer reading.
I also give students (kinder through fifth grades) these summer bookmarks to color. They look a little bland on this colorful blog, but when you're trying to save your colored ink at the end of the year (and the end of the budget), you'll love them!
