Our little kinder students come to visit us a few days before school starts to meet us and look around the classroom. They also bring their school supplies with them. We LOVE, love doing this for two reasons: One, it makes the first day of school SO much easier and Two, it helps keep little feelings from being hurt if they do not have school supplies to bring. I have tried various ways to have kids and parents put away their supplies, but have never been satisfied. So I just finished putting the finishing touches on a fun Scavenger hunt for kiddos to do with their parents. If you would like to read more about how I plan to do this hunt, I wrote a post about it on my blog which has a link to the free download. If you would rather just go to the free download, click the product image and it will take you to my TPT store link!
Enjoy!
