Get to know your students in NUMBERS

I did this with my kiddos last year during the middle of the year, however it would also be great for a back to school, get to know you kind of activity as well!  Students will pick 6 numbers to tell about themselves.  Then they will illustrate and create a poster to show each number.  It was a fun way to get students to realize that Math is everywhere!   Click on the picture to take you to my blog to read about it and to see some awesome student examples!  This is one thing that could most certainly be done in any grade!
