Short VCCV Practice Game (Reading Street aligned)

Hey, all! The freebie I have for you all today was made to go along with the 2011 version of Reading Street for 3rd grade, but you don't have to use Reading Street to use this freebie.  This is a practice game with a cute monster theme that helps the kiddos practice identifying syllables and sounds of short VCCV words.  The download includes a game board, instructions, 8 monster game pieces, and 40 short VCCV word game cards.  Hop on over to my blog, Classroom Compulsion, to pick it up!
