It is always fun to welcome students back to school with a
gift! It creates a wonderfully warm feeling between teachers and their
students. I like to give my students a gift that has a bit of meaning as well
as something that might make them smile! In this resource, I have taken the
word APPLE and created a simple acrostic poem that welcomes your students to
your classroom and hopefully sets the tone for a positive classroom atmosphere.
Inside the cup are items that symbolize each line in the poem.
