If you are looking for a neat way to make a display to celebrate grandparents, I have one for you. In this packet, there is a page that allows the student to draw both grandparents on one sheet. In cases where students don't know one of their grandparents, I have included separate sheets for just grandmothers or just grandfathers. Under each picture, the student writes the name they call their grandparent. When I did this in my classroom, it made for a lot of interesting conversation as well as observation of culturally significant names some call their grandparents. Students draw their grandparent and can decorate the frame with color. Mat these on black paper and hang for a beautiful display.
