Spelling Test Heading

In first grade spelling time is a blessing and a curse. It's great for the kids because they're either memorizing spelling words or sounding them out and identifying phonemes. It's horrible because...well....have you ever taught a 6 year old to head a spelling test paper?! lol...it's not pretty

I created a packet full of spelling test activities, included scaffolded teaching  of learning to head a spelling test. I wanted to give you a freebie from the packet. Hopefully  you can use it.

We take a practice test on Wednesday and a test again on Friday. Here is what my new practice page looks like:
