This is National Anti-Bully month and at my school we have been asked to present at least one lesson from a series of lessons given to use by our anti-bully/school safety committee. I took a couple of those lessons and made them more Kinder friendly.
How else to stand up to a bully but by being able to put your feelings into words and stand up for yourself? The next best thing is to see when someone else is hurting and know some things that you can do to help them.
Empathy....a big word, but one even small children can begin to understand.
Children want to be kind and this little book will help you to help them find a way to do that. Head on over to
KinderKapers to pick up a copy of this little emergent reader.
