Do you have an aide or volunteer during your small group reading time? I have a freebie of some weekly lesson plans for them to follow for the Houghton Mifflin Phonics Library books in 2nd grade. Even if you do not use Houghton Mifflin, these plans can be modified to be used with other basal resources, or other guided reading book sets.
