Grab Your "Ticket Out the Door!"
Exit Slips are a great way to poll the class and gather information about student learning. Students can respond to a question or share a fact that they learned from the lesson or the full day of learning. Collecting these tickets gives you insight into the student learning outcomes and can help you decide whether or not you need to reteach something. I use exit slips weekly as quick informal assessments of student achievement and learning!Some great Sentence Starters to go with this exit slip are:
