Heroes, Villains, and Character Traits: Oh My!
I love using fairy tales and folk tales to help my kids dig into the CCSS. I teach in a really low-income area and many of my kids have never heard most of the stories my parents read to me as a little girl.

I am a 3rd grade teacher and a Georgia Peach! My school is departmentalized so I teach Reading, Writing and Language Arts to two groups of kiddos each day. I am also the inclusion teacher for my grade level. This comes with a large set of challenges, but the rewards are even bigger... and better!
