Going back to school means a new rounds of data collection and new parents to talk to about RTI. Talking to parents about RTI is hard. But I have found that it is easier when parents know what questions to ask. One of the things I send home at the beginning of the year, is a short handout of questions parents should ask if and when their child begins the RTI process. Its great to send home or attached to permission for services. You can find the one page handout to give to parents
here.
