On Your Way to A.P.E. or Motor Lab - with a FREE Picture Communication Board for AAC Users

In many preschool programs the speech-language pathologist teams up with the O.T. and/or P.T. for therapy time. There is a good reason for this.

Many children - especially those on the Autism spectrum - have shown significant improvement in acquiring language skills when involved in physical activity. Even simple actions; such as clapping and tapping, can increase the acquisition of speech and language skills. A lot of language is learned during activities.  Spatial concepts, especially, are more easily learned when interacting with 3-D objects.

So, for all your kiddos who go to A.P.E. or the Motor Lab, here is a free picture communication board for them to use.
