Hello! This is Linda from Linda's Learning Loot and I want to share with you a FREEBIE that I'm using this week in my class. After teaching all about Thanksgiving to my kinder cubs in November, I realized that most of them didn't have a true concept of what present day Thanksgiving is about.
So I decided to come up with something they can work on that will help them reflect on what happened during their Thanksgiving holiday.
This freebie has a 6 page interactive emergent reader along with 3 pages of vocabulary words.
Once you download it, just print out the reader cut the pages in half and staple them together. You and your kiddos can read each page and they will illustrate each page as they reflect on the holiday. The vocabulary cards can be cut apart and laminated. Then, you can post them somewhere during the activity so the kids will have a resource to get ideas for their illustrations.
