Has anyone else noticed that the closer we get to the holidays, the less thankful many of our students become?
To encourage kiddos to be grateful for what they have, I like to practice these 3 strategies:
- Model being grateful in front of my students
- Read picture books with a theme of gratitude
- Write about what our students have to be thankful for in their lives
