Hi, this is Brandi from The Research Based Classroom. When I started filling in my plan book for February I realized it's not only a short month, but it's also a packed month with President's Day and Valentine's Day. If you are in need of an art project for President's Day, give these torn paper projects a try. They come out so cute, but remember you'll have lots of mistakes. I usually cut 2-3 times as many as needed to account for all those mistakes when doing torn paper projects.

I can't find my picture anywhere, but one year the entire grade level made both of these projects and we hung them up like an American flag. It was so cute...darn my lack of organizational skills with photos!
Happy President's Day!
