Play to Learn: Gomoku on a 100 Chart


I have created a series of math games I use for stations in my upper elementary classroom.  Recently I updated my 100 chart to make the squares bigger.  (We were running out of dry erase markers, and I wanted to use the plastic cubes as reusable markers.)

The game you see above is called Gomoku.  Students try to get five squares in a row: horizontally, vertically, or diagonally.  To claim a square in this version, they must write an equation that equals the number on that square.
