We have a Book Fair coming up in our library next week! I like to give my students time to preview the books during a library class, and I found a fun way to reinforce Mathematics Common Core skills while my students get a look at all of the new titles the Book Fair has to offer. This free resource is the perfect activity to use with the actual books or the book fair flyer!
Your 4th & 5th grade students will have fun previewing upcoming Book
Fair selections while practicing their mathematics. Let them
peruse the Book Fair flyer and introduce them to the online fair as you
guide them in practice with rounding, adding, subtracting and comparing
decimals. Perfect for a library skills lesson supporting mathematics
standards or a fun classroom activity before or during Book Fair week!
Grab this freebie in The Trapped Librarian store here!
Happy Reading!
