It's always tough to fill up those last weeks of school with meaningful activities. Here's a pictograph survey the students can do fairly independently, and also provides for a review of graphing concepts.
Have the students survey each other about their summer plans or their favorite things from the school year:
On the second page of this freebie, they can display their survey data in a pictograph:
Once finished, these would make a great bulletin board. Students can write and ask each other questions based on the data they fine. Not to mention that their surveys and pictographs will also spark a ton of interesting conversations for you and your students!!
