Be the Teacher - Rounding Activity

This small group activity helps students practice their rounding skills. The task cards contains rounding of whole number and decimals.

"The Teacher" uses the task card to announce the number being used. "The Teacher" then asks the students to round the given number to each of three places on the card. Answers are included on each card so the teacher can check each student's work.  I have the students use white boards for this activity but scrap paper could work as well. After each card is used, the next person in the group becomes the teacher.
