Halloween Ordering Decimals Activity

I look forward to doing this activity every year. My students are always surprised that they are coloring, cutting, and pasting in math class.

I love how this activity helps me assess my students' understanding of decimals.

The students color the images and then cut them out. I give them a sentence strip, that I cut in half horizontally, to arrange the images on. Once I have check their work, they can paste the decimals on their strip. 

It also makes a great classroom display. The picture doesn't do it justice.
