Students' Work Habits

We have rubrics for behavior and rubrics for writing.  We have rubrics for everything... Want another one?

I know, what a crazy way to open this blog post!  ha.  But seriously.  I have for you today, some ideas on how to improve your students' work habits along with a rubric that can help you evaluate it and a work habit reflection sheet to help hold them accountable.

There are some students in class every year that just don't know how to stay on task and maintain good work habits.  That's okay.  That's where we come in and teach them.  That's where I come and help you do that!

With this work habits rubric, you can help the student set goals and use it to show parents improvement.   It also doesn't leave a student guessing exactly what is expected of him or her.

With this reflection piece, it helps hold him or her accountable and reflect on the choices made.  You could even add at the bottom what the little one can do better next time.
