Printing on Post-It notes is so much fun! I developed a template for students to use to provide close reading comments while reading novels. CLICK HERE to visit my original blog post about printing on Post-Its where you can download the close reading Post-It template.
You could also use the template directions to create your own Post-It printable for mini rubrics. There are many small assignments I give students that need feedback that is better than a checkmark at the top of the page. I wanted a system to grade short assignments quickly and consistently but did not want to get bogged down in lengthy rubrics.
I took my basic template and started creating a variety of rubrics that can be printed on Post-It notes. They take a little time to print in large batches but are so effective as a way to give specific feedback.
