Whew! What a busy month October is - parent teacher conferences and that "holiday" that makes the kids all sugared up! Gah! But soon, it's coming to an end and then it'll be time to start thinking about Turkey.
Wow, time just flies!
Anyway, as you approach November and begin thinking about Thanksgiving, Pilgrims, The Mayflower, and Native Americans, head over to my blog and read about all the fun activities we did. For example, we created this fun Thanksgiving story (above) using our fingerprints and comic boxes!
Then we read the Thanksgiving Story and create the Mayflower ship. Inside the ship, we create cause and effect pieces for the sail! (see image above).
You can also download this reading sheet that is centered around this holiday and while you are at it, practice some cause and effect using the Mayflower Ship itself! (Included with the reading sheet!)
Happy Thanksgiving!
