Butterfly Alphabet Matching Cards

Letter recognition and alphabet fluency is a super important step in the beginning stages of reading for any child. If a student can't see the differences between letters it will be really difficult for them to make words, blend sounds and read. 

 One of the things that we do to help with letter recognition and fluency in our 3-6 classrooms is letter matching. We often use puzzles, cards, worksheets or even just paper.  Matching letters help to strengthen that recognition.
