Persuasive Writing Project

persuasivetripfreebieMy 3rd graders loved writing persuasive letters to the principal with this project.  Since my students were always talking about field trips and the city they wanted to go, I let them write about the places we should be allowed to go on a field trip.  Some of my favorite essays were the ones where they tried to convince the principal that we should go to Orlando, because Disneyland would really be educational!  Grab a free copy of the project from Google Docs.
