End of Year Gift... It May Look Fun, But It's Actually Academic!

One of my biggest fears as a teacher is that the students will lose progress over the summer.  I've seen it happen way too frequently and it's the worst feeling to come back in September and watch students drop a reading level!  Please tell me I'm not alone in this matter!
