Here's a collection of writing pages featuring seasonal words:
The background story...I teach Special Education (currently 75% inclusion 1st grade & a few pull-out small group sessions). I have one little boy who is struggling :( He has social-emotional goals and objectives, as well as academics. His confidence is very low and he's not reading, yet. It's been a challenge to motivate him to remain in our small group & work on skills. I applaud his bravery - it's so frustrating for him!
Here's our victory for the week - he REQUESTED to do more of these activity pages!!! Woohoo!! I've been using them since the beginning of the year and he hasn't shown any appreciation for them until now. This week, he specifically asked me if we could do more of those "word-thingys" Request GRANTED - the next day he had his own personalized set copied on blue (his favorite color) paper!
