I'm getting ready to implement a poem of the week in my 2nd grade classroom. Each week one student will be crowned the Great Poetry Race Champ. In addition to getting a little stuffed animal award to hang out with for the day, students will also be sent home with this cute award.
Click here to hop on over to my blog to DOWNLOAD these and read more about how to use these awards in your room.
Not doing a poem of the week? Well hop on over still to get these BLANK awards. You can fill in the student's name, achievement, teacher, and date!
Either way come on over and get yourself a set of cute awards to use next year!
We're Wild About You Awards
I'm an elementary behavior interventionist in a Title 1 school in Austin, TX. I've been teaching for over ten years in 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and RTI. Apparently I enjoy the challenge of moving positions.. constantly! And I just recently got my masters in education and administration, so I'm sure there are more moves on the horizon! While teaching fuels this blog, I also have two wonderful (and LARGE) dogs named Hunter and Max who fill in the spaces too.
