Classroom Birthday Bar Graph

 
The first week of school, I have my students help me create our birthday chart for the year.  I give them the sheet of paper below with the data collection on one side and the frame for the bar graph on the other. 
I have them survey their classmates and create the graph.  I keep one displayed next to my classroom calendar so when I write up the month's events I can fill in birthdays.
