Christmas Around the World for Older Kids: Italy

I really do love doing activities in the classroom that combine fun AND learning... especially during the "nutty" days of December! This mini-unit has a rigorous passage (yep, I said rigorous) about traditions in Italy, comprehension questions that are Common Core based to go along with the passage, a map skills page, a world map and flag of Italy page, and a scrapbook page, as well. I also love that it combines social studies and reading, which is a great time saver too.
