New Year's Freebie!

Hey Y'all!  It's Susan hopping over from Friendly Froggies!  Happy New Year! As you get ready to head back to the classroom, I have a quick writing activity that will engage your students.   My little firsties are always so cute and eager to share about their vacations!   Why fight the excitement and energy of 6 and 7 year olds sharing with their friends?!

I like to start off our days back from vacation with a little movement, too! First, we  mingle to music and share our news with each other! We complete a graphic organizer to get us started and then we get down to businesss writing about our break!
