I love this time of year.
Everything is fresh and new like a brand new paint canvas. At the beginning of every New Year we do not
know what the painting will turn out like.
It is all an inspirational Idea.
Here are some Inspirational items I would like to pass along
at the beginning of 2017.
The Next Items are from a Slideshow I saw online –
these are my favorites:
I love what Mark Twain inspires:
Most of us do not think of ourselves are writers, BUT:
Put your sports shoes on and get ready to LEAP:
Here is to all the Good Mistakes in 2017:

Character is More than a Word:
Your Joy comes from Within:
I love what one author
wrote concerning Resolutions vs. Mantras:
While some people may confuse New Year’s Resolutions
with new Mantras, the two are very different.
Resolutions are more of declarations of action you will be making in the
New Year, whereas Mantras explore how you are going to change your thought
process when handling certain situations and issues life throws to you. Here are a few inspirational sayings that can
serves as Mantras for 2017!!
“The will to win, the desire to succeed, the urge to
reach your full potential… these are the keys that will unlock the door to
personal excellence.”
“Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning,
studying, sacrifice and most of all, love of what you are doing or learning to
do.”
“We all make mistakes, have struggles, and even regret
things in our past. But you are not your
mistakes, you are not your struggles, and you are here NOW with the power to
shape your day and your future.”
“Those who overcome great challenges will be changed,
and often in unexpected ways. For our
struggles enter our lives as unwelcome guests, but they bring valuable
gifts. And once the pain subsides, the
gifts remain. These gifts are life’s
true treasures, bought at great price, but cannot be acquired in any other
way.”
“Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the
strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the
world.”
Consider sharing any or all of these inspiration quotes and ideas with your students. It helps make a great start to a New Year and refocused your students on how they can create the 2017 they want for themselves.
The Healthy Mind Curriculum wishes all the best in the New
Year. May you all find new dreams and
hopes to work to attain. I hope this
list of inspirational thoughts and mantras will stay in your minds throughout
the coming year.
